Students entering Grades 5 & 6 are joined in a classroom that averages 18-22 students with one full-time teacher. Grades 7 & 8 are joined in a classroom that averages 16-20 students with one full-time teacher.
1. Visit Campus (optional)
While a campus tour is not required we do highly encourage interested parents to schedule an in-person or virtual tour with the admission office or attend an open house in the fall.
2. Submit Application
Your child’s application and a $25 non-refundable application fee must be submitted through our online admission portal.
3. Student Assessment Visit
Applicants will be assessed by our teachers in mathematics and reading. An admission team member will schedule an assessment appointment with you.
4. Online Recommendations
A recommendation from the applicant’s current teacher, principal and pastor/leader is required. Teacher recommendations are confidential and must be submitted using our online portal. For processing during our preferred admission cycle, references have until February 1 to submit their evaluation.
5. Submit Request for Records from Previous School
Submit the school records request through our online application. For processing during our preferred admission cycle, schools have until February 1 to submit student records/transcripts.
6. Admission Committee Review
The Admissions Committee will review the application packet to determine whether the student and Vista Ridge Academy are an appropriate match.
7. Admission Notification
Parents are notified of the Admission Committee’s decision by an email and letter from the school Principal and Vice Principal.
8. Complete Enrollment Packet
Upon notification of acceptance, the enrollment packet and fee of $500 are due to Vista Ridge Academy to secure your child’s space.
